Our Mission is to assist the Forest Products Industry by promoting the deployment of commercially viable advanced biofuels, biochemicals and byproducts technologies that do not require long term subsidy and by optimizing efficiency in order to get the most value from the tree.

BDC is a fact-based, trustworthy, and results oriented international organization that is dedicated to educating and keeping industry leaders abreast of the pertinent technology, processes, and policies with focus on deployment of developed technologies.

BDC has a base membership of major pulp and paper companies and is a solid and diverse group of companies and organizations that include forest products, corn ethanol, biorenewable technology, construction, financial institutions, and universities.  The variety of members provides for synergistic partnering opportunities.

BDC accomplishes its goal of achieving deployment of successful biorenewables and energy reduction projects by brokering partnerships, providing information and education, identifying asset utilization opportunities, and capitalizing on available financial resources, all with relatively small annual membership fees to its members.
